Working Women
The Women's Wing
The Nana Mansa II Women's Wing is a women's economic empowerment initiative serving the mothers and associated caregiving women of children enrolled in the Cynthia B. Dillard International School in Mpeasem, Ghana. These women are employed by the school in a variety of creative endeavors including farming, beadmaking, apparel sewing, and breadmaking, with their goods being sold in the for profit arena.
It's A Win-Win!
Education Changes Everything
ALL profits are used to benefit and enrich educational programs within the school and to benefit their children who attend the school. Because when students can reach their dreams through education, there’s no limit to where they can go.
When Women Are Empowered
A Team of 40 Women
We currently have 40 women who take part in the Women's Wing program to provide goods and services to both local and global communities and supplementing the needs of the children who attend the International School.
